Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney broke with Republican orthodoxy on Friday by saying he believes that humans are responsible, at least to some extent, for climate change.
"I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that," he told a crowd of about 200 at a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire.
"It's important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors."
The former Massachusetts governor fielded questions on topics ranging from the debt ceiling to abortion on his first official day of campaigning for 2012 Republican primary nomination.
Romney leads opinion polls in New Hampshire by a wide margin, and is among the top contenders nationally to win the Republican contest to challenge Democratic President Barack Obama.

That would help but no chance of this in time to affect 2012. What needs to happen is all conservative candidates that have no chance of winning the nomination get out of the race. Do not allow your ego's to split the conservative vote. The nation's crisis is too serious.

Romney is and always has been a situational public speaker. He thinks if he appeals to the large number of leftists in New England, he will get more votes. I expect the Tea Party adherents will clean his clock in the primaries. He's done. No Tea Party support. No Evangelical support. Democrats won't cross party lines in the primaries. 2012 will be the last we hear from Mitt.

Where has Romney been, under a rock? The theory of man made global warming has been supported by false data. Without valid data to support this theory, it remains an unproven theory. For this, I ask this question: Does Romney know anything about the scientific method?

Every time Romney makes some progress, he fails another intelligence test. Screw the politics of “perception.” We need leaders, not windsocks.

In 2008, I thought I could hold my nose and vote for Romney. Following this little nugget and his love of socialized medicine, I will vote 3rd party or stay home in 2012.
My forecast - if Romney wins the GOP nomination, we get four more years of BO.
