The North Texas FReepers are again happy to host this years annual TEXAS COWBOY Memorial Shoot.

Please join us in this gathering to once again celebrate the life and memory of Elroy and his notion of fun and friendship.

I got nothing new. Oh wait I do too, but it's a KelTec PF9, not much fun to shoot, easy to carry concealed. 9mm it's very small and light. single stack magazine, mostly polymer, although it's got an aluminum sub frame sort of thing, kinda different. Having extraction and reliability issues. I'll put the new extractor and firing pin in tomorrow, and try to shoot it Thursday afternoon or Friday.

I'm staying up here for a football game on Saturday. Will head back south on Saturday night or Sunday.

Also have temporary custody of a S&W revolver, like a Model 29, but in .45 Colt. If I can find some .45 Colt ammo, I’ll bring the old gal. Belongs to a friend of my wife’s. The friend is happy with her .38 Spl, and wants me to sell the .45 and a Dan Wesson .357 for her.

Talked to the daughter yesterday evening and they could see the flames from their home in Katy.
