DeMint helped get Romney into the race in 2007, serving as senior advisor to his President Exploratory Committee, and of course, endorsing him.
DeMint also endorsed Lindsey Graham and served as Co-Chairman of his campaign for 2008, anything is possible.
I still can’t fathom how someone with Demint’s voting record could support people like that.
