Sorry about that! It’s a great term for “those people who are special because they have an ‘in’ with the ruling party ... for now.”
Do you really believe after all she's been through she doesn't know how the “far left fringe uses the machinery of the system to wear us down and score a win even when most of America opposes their agenda”?
Is there anyone alive today that has had more direct experience with that than her?
And to assume we have any real clue of how she's spending her personal time is just foolish. She knows how to keep a secret.
When she publicly makes her case we'll know and can judge her then.
Now is not the time. It only plays into the MSM’s hands to reinforce the image of a country bumpkin that they've tried so hard to paint her as to the public. Krauthammer is a part of the MSM trying to paint that picture and has been all along.
‘_______and ask for examples.’
I know what you mean.
“Do you know for a fact he doesnt know?”
For a “fact” no. But one can make the reasonable assumption that he hasn’t been living with her for the past two years...
She keeps her cards close to the vest - obviously - no one even knows for a fact if she’s running or not...
Krauthammer has been treating Palin as a country bumpkin from the beginning. Which is even more reason he’d be kept out of her loop.
re: Darn you. You made me have to go look that word up. I hadnt heard it in so long I forgot what it meant. Sheesh, the cold war is over (or is it coming back! ;)
Here's another terminology blast from the past: samizdat.
That is exactly what Palin is doing by resorting to modern electronic technology such as FaceBook and Twitter to disseminate ideas and messages. It bypasses the official state organs of communication and is every bit as much a threat to their control as were the personal printing presses and mimeographs of old.
BTW, the cold war was just one campaign - the war between the ideas of individual freedom versus the tyranny of the elites is eternal.
Kidding. I just hadn’t heard it in forever. I was so glad to be done with those folks. But I think it’s trending back. Darnit.
‘_______to be interviewed by Katie Couric.’ (McCain)
zzzzat right???!
Hmmmmm . . .
Hamburg, Herishoma, Nagasaki. Then the Commie State Department, that Harry inherited from FDR, got Harry’s attitude adjusted. Hence WW II was the last war we won. Harry was so unschooled on Foriegn Policy, that he messed up and ended the war without their approval.
I remember that interview. I’m not saying it was necessarily a fair interview or anything.
But I do remember it and Palin’s lack of prep time was very much obvious.
She’s learned since then, judging from subsequent interviews.
Krauthammer is a registered democrat.
“____________she’s US!”
Ditto in this household.
: )
Sorry, I was responding to a different post.
It was hilarious. Dave mentioned to the audience that McCain had to cancel because he was on his way to Washington DC to fix the financial crisis. Then Dave mentioned that he managed to get some feed of McCain, on his way to Washington, and he’s like to show it to the audience.
When Dave turned on the monitor, it showed McCain getting maked-up in a neighbouring CBS studio, Katie Couric’s studio.
I do not know or not whether Palin is “schooled” or not on policy. However,i’m sure her integrity and moral character will guide her into seeking help when she is not sure and getting wise counsel. She is not arrogant. This is what is needed at the helm now.
{Any governor} Except, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, I guess, since only Republicans must meet the commensurate IQ requirement you seem to have.
Don’t they have a standardized test of US foreign policy that Ms. Palin can take, and shut up these RINO jackasses once and for all?
That’s been my position.
Any position you take is going to be reflected in your worldview.
O, my, I’d never even HEARD that one! Gosh, I’m getting schooled today. :)
Not well thought out. Great self analysis of the drivel you usually post. Children were not mentioned in that paragraph but neither were elephants or zebras, so how do you know she wasn’t referring to the latter?
I can only assume (and that word is dangerous) that he’s heard her speak and goes from there. I wouldn’t make an assumption that he has personal knowledge of what she’s been doing at home. He sounded as if he might be making his opinion based on what she’s been saying, and whether or not she sounded as if she had a solid understanding. But, as I said, I don’t know. I’ll shut up now.
Name one president that entered office with foreign policy credentials, come on there should be plenty if them, since it seems to be a requirement.
