FOX News contributor Charles Krauthammer gives his take on what a "Washington establishment elitist" thinks of a potential Sarah Palin run for the presidency. In self-deprecating fashion, Krauthammer says he wears Palin's "hoity-toity" comment as a badge of honor.
"She is very smart and adept. Great political instincts and is a star. The problem with her, I think, is that she is not schooled. I don't mean she didn't go to the right schools. I mean when you get into policy, beyond instincts -- I like her political instincts, I like her political overall view of the world -- but when it comes to policy, she had two-and-a-half years to school herself and she hasn't and that's a problem," Charles Krauthammer told Bill O'Reilly on Tuesday. "It's not only the lack of schooling, it's the lack of effort to school herself and the lack of insight to see that she needs it."

I think he means that Sarah hasn’t devoted herself to understand policy issues since the election.
Not sure what evidence he has for this assertion.
Someone was saying perhaps the best thing for Sarah would be to continue playing the media on her family vacation touring American history sites, then go back to Arizona and run for Senate when McCain retires.
Then she would have a terms or two to be fully “schooled” in policy issues and can run for Prez in 6 or 8 years.
In a rare moment of brilliance, Kraut is dead on in his assessment.
Come on, don't keep me hang'n. Tell me how you really feel. :-)
Yet, everyone is supposed to believe the Krauth is a conservative!
The Kraut said he isn’t referring to where she went to school. I believe it. Even he knows better than to put down her education because she went to a western US college.
He hits her where he thinks he can get away with it. Claims she hasn’t “schooled herself on policy” since she came on the national scene.
My question is, how does HE know??
He doesn’t.
Hey, Charlie, Palin neither needs nor wants your effing advice... So put a sock it, you pompous twit!
All that “policy schooling” has really done such a wonderful job for America ... NOT!
What you really mean to say is that Palin has not yet been indoctrinated by the NWO-pandering Neo-con Bullsh*t Brigade, of which I believe you are perhaps the CnC?
Sorry, Charlie... Only real conservatives will get TEA Party votes in 2012.
And we like you too, Charles. Less now, because you’ve clearly shown yourself to be a snob.
Its interesting how you seldom see anyone press Charles when he says something such as this. Its as though they are fascinated with his words or feel bad about how difficult it is for him to speak or are so exasperated listening they want to move on, he isn’t God. Someone needs to come right back at him after a pontification such as this and ask for examples.
In the meantime, we could fill the universe with “O” does NOT know about policy!!!
Someone should ‘school’ Krauthammer that his employer is a tool of the DNC and a subsidiary of the Obama Administration.
Peace through superior firepower.
That’s the only foreign policy the world understands or that she needs to know.

Well... she sure as heck knows not to bow to the raghead king of Saud...
If being a pro-abort, amnesty supporting, Christian hater is what comes of being “schooled” in public policy, I think Palin can do without it.
Charles already said that it wasn’t about which schools she went to. She could have gone to Podunk High, for all he cared about.
What he means is that, for better or worse, she doesn’t know US policies and why they exist, and the consequences of their existence or removal.
All of what he says is true - in a relative way. She is not PERFECT at ANYTHING. This means that for the comments to have meaning, whenever you talk of her weaknesses you have to be comparing her to someone else. So, generally speaking, which candidate is “more schooled” in this area and how does this candidate compare to her in other areas?
Then again, maybe she can school herself in the areas she is weak and be rarin’ to go next year. :)
I don’t expect her to make the mistakes she made in 2008 when she was thrown in cold turkey. ;)
didn’t go to the right knobby schools, eh?
Boy are you gonna get flamed...
Can;t criticzie Palin.
Most of our "polices" have failed, Krauthie... maybe, just maybe a "do over" is a good thing?
