You don’t seem to grasp the fact that market forces dictate most moves in the economic world. Products are made where comparative advantage dictates maximum profit. Older industries are and have been driven out of the nation by environmental laws and regulations on industry.

Production which remains within our nation will be concentrated upon new products which American industry has traditionally created for the world. We create the New then teach the world how to make it cheaper than we can and we move on to the next innovation. This is called the “Export Cycle”. Free trade fosters that innovative spirit which has driven America to the height of wealth and power.

You should also be aware that the US constitution defines “treason” and nothing you complain about meets that definition. Private resources are not entirely under the control of the federal government and are not allocated to suit your personal preferences or mine.

Nor should you confuse an analysis of how things develop with approval of them. One of my political goals is to develop a society wherein individuals can maximize their potential to create wealth. This will also maximize the nation’s.

Trying to protect the past should not lead to destroying the future. Capitalist development is a process of creative destruction wherein the old is destroyed in creating the new. That destruction is unavoidable.

Ok, your way leads to weakness and death of the republic. Since you have no allegiance other than to profit margin this makes you and me are very different people. You are more primitive, seeing things in simplistic cost/benefit to you or your company; your country be damned. Not everyone does everything for profit, thank God. Thank God out founders were 180 degrees different than you. God help us. There really is no point, we are too far apart, I am a throw back to the patriots of the founders tradition and you are more of a pure profit motivated, history ignoring cretin.

YOU NEVER ADDRESS ANY POINT THAT I MAKE, EVER. WHY? BECAUSE THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR YOUR POSITION.

That destruction is unavoidable.

The time for tariffs is now! While there are still a few industries to save.

Products are made where comparative advantage dictates maximum profit.

This is communist-speak.

Free trade fosters that innovative spirit which has driven America to the height of wealth and power.

The evidence is that 30 years 'free trade' has driven the American economy into extinction. That in addition to fomenting the Civil War which killed 600,000 Americans.

One of my political goals is to develop a society wherein individuals can maximize their potential to create wealth.

Your political goal, if you were a loyal American, should be protect individual rights so people can pursue their own happiness. Your stated goal is a collectivist social engineering goal that suits the globalist agenda, but not freedom and liberty of Americans to live without collectivist corporations molding people into unnatural things.
