It's notable because it was written in 1916 by Joseph McCarthy, Howard Johnson and James V. Monaco, making it one of the oldest rock'n'roll songs ever recorded. It was originally adapted to rock'n'roll in 1959 when a version, produced by Michael Barclay, became a number one hit for Emile Ford & The Checkmates in the UK.
