God, no. Of course not. No-one who has to work long hours at menial labor ever could decide he wanted more money, even if it meant doing something illegal. And law enforcement, having the memories of goldfish that they do, couldn’t possibly have been serving a warrant to investigate a crime which happened on a previous day (/sarc)
