A U.S. Marine who was killed when he was gunned down in his home near Tucson, Arizona, never fired on the SWAT team that stormed his house firing 70 times in a hail of bullets, a report has revealed.
The revelation came as dramatic footage of the shooting was released, showing the armed team pounding down the door of Jose Guerena's home and opening fire.
The father-of-two, who had served twice in Iraq, died on May 5 after the SWAT team descended on his home believing it was one of four houses associated with a drug smuggling operation.

To the amoral idiots defending this, the answer is yes. The victim was ripped to shreds by bullets in a completely acceptable manner.

They are going in there on a drug gang warrant...the guy has a weapon....He’s dead. It happens.

BTW, seems odd, a violent gangster, yet no criminal record? No history of violence? No arrests drug sales...Nothing.
Most violent gangsters, violent drug rings and those in drug cartels have *extensive* criminal records, most of which have done substantial time in the joint, on parole etc, etc. The homeowner here apparently had no criminal record.

The warrant was for 4 residences and it was regarding drug activity. Multiple people working together to distribute drugs.

Apparently he didn’t want to use the judicial system. He could have had a trial. You get involved in illegal activity and play with guns, things go bad fast.

Since he is dead and can't speak and there has been no trial, how do you know he's guilty?
Yet again, you've convicted this man. As far as everything I've read....he has NEVER been CONVICTED of any crime and therefore did not deserve a death sentence.
