The Pima County Sheriff's Department released video, audio, and more than 500 pages of incident reports and interview transcripts related to the May 5 shooting death of a former Marine.
The shooting took place while officers were serving a warrant in a drug conspiracy case at Jose Guerena's home, on Redwater Street.
The SWAT team arrived at the home just before 9:30 a.m., hoping that children would be out of the house and at school at that time.
The video of the whole incident times out at 1 minute and 17 seconds.
If the vid was edited & released by the Sheriff's Dept., then why did they edit it to make it look as damning to themselves as possible?
Tere is no way to spin this turd. The sheriffs department is in deep crap over this.
Considering their boss, Pima County Sheriff Clarence W. Dupnik, who has a history of tainting other investigations with wild baseless unfounded comments, it's no surprise.
And why would they put a camera on someone in the rear, who was not even part of the entry team, who appeared to jump back in the vehicle and hit the floor when the shooting started?
Where is the helmet camera from those at homeowners door?
At 9:34 a.m. (Guerena is at that time dead or dying), the SWAT officers began 30 minutes of identifying themselves (again) and telling anyone inside the house to come out, unarmed. A bit late, I think.

Unless the Pima Co. Sheriff’s Dept. has edited that vid to incriminate themselves, no way did Guerena have time to fully awake and clearly identify / comprehend the situation, and rationally respond.
