Except that "civil unions" -- as corporations have defined them -- allows corporations to treat cohabiters the same as "married" employees re: benefits.
Some corporations, once they opened the door to providing benefits for homosexual cohabiters -- including civil union recognition -- then realized they had to cater to heterosexual cohabiters.
Eventually, the cohabiters and homosexuals will take on the country as to how many partners can be placed on the benefits' list.

How dare we call it “Gay Marriage” or “Homo Duo” that could ever possibly be approved of God when He makes no bones about it?
Not going to happen.
It’s a case of wanting to be their own god. In that case, so be it. They can call it “marriage” all the day long. But at the end of the day, it’s simply a homosexual stating that they want the deviant behavior to be accepted as normal even though they know and we know it ain’t going to happen. Hell, we ALL know it.
Marriage is of GOD. Why bother with the whole ordeal when God is removed? Of what use is marriage without the approval of God? Marriage IS of God ... HIS way.
