Yeah, it doesn’t look like a point blank shot at someone close enough to have just pushed a door into the occifer’s face. Why the occifer would feel that he needs to make up such a story is inexplicable, because courts almost never second guess an officer or occifer who claims to have spotted a possible gun dozens of yards away. So the occifer shot from across the yard, why cover that up?
