And I’m telling you, Tea Party Conservatives are the ones who don’t like the Fed. Establishment Conservatives are the ones who do.
Establishment Republicans (of which Establishment Conservatives are a part) do like elite credentials, and KC Fed Chair is undoubtedly an elite credentials. Often, Moderate Republicans do look at things like elite credentials, and don’t have strong ideological preferences.
They might think “if the Fed picked him, he must be ok” or any number of other thought processes.
I tell you now Herman Cain was invited and spoke at 20 times as many Tea Party functions as Ron Paul so if the Tea Party hates him so much why would he be invited to speak.
