What’s the point of this? People die every minute, every second, every one thousand of a second of every day. And then, others come to Internet forums to anonymously parade, demonstrate their moral superiority of others, to condemn, to display and posture their perfection. I’m one of those who mocks your pretentious posturing. There is so much pain in this world that ladies on high horses just walk by holding their hankies to their noses, but hey, news of some disaster thousands of miles away, they pretend to shed crocodile tears. It takes all kinds, doesn’t it.

The point is this: Basic, decent humanity. Yes people die everyday...but I extend the same courtesy to those in mourning that I would want to be extended to me. If it was my loved one...or friend...I would not want someone making lite of their demise.

And another thing: Why do something behind the safety of a keyboard that you would not do to their face? I doubt very seriously you would stand in the middle of Joplin, MO and make a joke right now. If you did....they would certainly "SHOW YOU."

So...if you wouldn't do it to their face...then you are a true coward. An internet coward. One who feels somewhat emboldened by being able to hide in anonymity behind their screen. Saying things they would never have the courage to say in person.

And I'm actually the kind of guy that loves a good World War every now and again, with it's 40 million dead and rotting in fields somewhere. Idi Amin was a favorite, and I LOVE the cannibalism.
