The word Bris means covenant; the word Milah, to cut. Ritual circumcision is the covenant G-d has established with the Jewish people through the commandment of circumcision.
The big government libs in SF have no authority to regulate this personal choice. What happened to the "right to privacy" that they created, or is it like all other lib creations and only applies selectively when the arbiters of political correctness decide to play that card?

Its routine performance is medically unnecessary. It does harm to the patient, not to preserve and protect a life but for its own ends.
Parents need to get in through their skulls a child is a separate and distinct human being, not a piece of personal property. If you condone a child's genital mutilation you condone abortion.
Both presuppose a parental right to maim one's own child. One fatally, the other causes permanent damage to a private part fully formed and functionally normal.
The right to privacy applies only to killing children, not minor surgery.
So keep killing ‘em, but don’t cut ‘em.
