Donald Trump is not running for president.
"After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency," Trump said in a statement Monday. "This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country," the real estate mogul and reality show star continued.

(sheesh...I feel like I'm in junior hi...voting for student council.)
There is an old Greek myth (paraphrased heavily) about a king who was afraid his sons would take his throne. He created a maze and he promised the first who made it through could have his kingdom. The maze was enticing, full of virgins and treasures. All the sons went in but one. All the sons who went into the maze the king created never came out, they were lost in the maze. Only the one who didn't go into the maze the father created was able to challenge the father and take the kingdom.
The moral of these stories, never go into the battlefield your enemy lures you into.
“Farah was advising Trump. It was the billboard campaign by WND that got everyone worked up over the birth certificate.”
You are right, but don’t go back far enough. I believe that Obama gamed this issue years ago when he set his sights on the Presidency despite his known (to him) ineligibility.
I don’t believe Obama is more than average intelligent, but he does know how to play chess, which puts him head and shoulders over the checkers crowd.
“Birther” is an Obama construct.......from the way back get go.....he was just intelligent enough to let the oposition do his work for him.
I think you are correct on two parts. 1. He probably knew that there was an argument to be made about two citizen parents and if anything, he would have spent a lot fighting it instead of campaigning. 2. He knew that if you get the opponents focusing on that, especially the more outrageous parts, he can use it to marginalize them and keep them from fighting him on issues people actually vote on.
“Well who is still running and not crazy?”
No one! You have to be crazy to be a Conservative and set yourself up for the abuse reserved for Republican Presidents.
(There are always a few that are crazily patriotic.)
Trump was, and is, a democrat. He’s never been a republican or anything close to it. His FEC record shows this. His role in the Obama campaign was to raise a huge dust cloud about The Birth Certificate.
A huge cloud that the media helped promote. Then Obama’s people blew it away with a puff of air, and Trump and the media declared that the issue was as settled as Global Warming, end of debate. It pretty much worked for the electorate.
I wonder what Trump got for it? Now that he’s served his purpose (fulfilled who knows what contract) he’s fading out.
What did Perot get for splitting the vote? Remember the timing there- Perot made a lot of noise until Clinton was way ahead, then he quit. But when Clinton fell behind, Perot felt “called” to re-enter the race and attempted to run to the right.
The Donald will probably spend magabux getting The Won re-coronated.
It was in the Daily Mail on May 3, and then the Washington Pest picked up on it about 8 days later. Both were on FR.
lol I didn’t scroll down enough, you beat me to it, we agree on this.
At least Trump was the only one saying what Muslim Middle East countries of OPEC and China are doing to the U.S.A.
Just what OPEC is doing to gas and oil prices alone is enough to soon destroy the U.S. and the economy.
Do all of you celebrating like $10 per gallong gasoline?
Yeah, I've noticed. (sigh)
He never was going to run...and it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.
You were probably prepared to call the long form birth certificate a fake before it was posted. I still haven't seen anything that points to it being fake.
To me, the evidence had better be damn convincing, because it would mean a massive coverup from Washington to Hawaii, which is just too ridiculous to consider without definitive proof.
I am not celebrating. Trump made people listen, did not let the media spin what he was saying and no one else is talking. First step, talk about what is going wrong. Second step is present solutions. Crickets are chirping, but that is about it. If no one is talking and presenting solutions, how will we be able to tell who is the best candidate for President? Does anyone really give a darn about electing a President who can fix this country? It makes me wonder when all everyone wants is for everyone but “their” candidate to drop out of the race. Not smart in my opinion.
"After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency," Trump said in a statement Monday. "This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country,"It's his thing, did what he wants to do.
Don't know whether this appeared on FR yet.
Kleon needs help with his vision...
Wrong again. I actually waited for the evidence to pill up against Obama's latest artist work.
