So would I. So would I.
PS: Brit's the one in the MSM I respect the most.
John Bolton would be a great VP match for Christie. He’d add the ‘gravitas’ (forgive me for the use of that word).
Gingrich has been supportive of an individual mandate since the 90s. He has always believed that everyone should pay for part of their own health care costs and the individual mandate is the only way to do it. Ryan’s plan is DOA and everyone knows it. Gingrich has always thought he had a practical solution to the health care crisis.
Is that where the money is going?....to health care?
I don’t think Newt’s heart is in it. I believe he was under a lot of pressure to run and who wouldn’t like to be President but getting there is a beach.
I hate to knock Ryan’s plan because nobody else has come up with anything decent. He gets a “A” for effort but that plan is not going to save our country and as you so aptly pointed out its DOA in the Senate.
The size of government has increased 32% in the past 2 years. It needs to be shrunk 32% by next year and then another 30%-40% after that. The only way to do it is to just say no to the debt ceiling. Thats not going to happen.
The train is chugging on down the tracks and picking up speed. The GOP elites are selecting our next RINO president for us as we speak. Unless Cain or Bachmann or maybe Palin can somehow get the nomination we will all be told to hold our nose one more time and vote for a McCain like big government globalist Republican. I don’t know about the rest of you but we are not going to go down that road again and neither is anyone else we know.
One of my friends made the comment today that maybe we just have to have the collapse and then try to restore the Republic afterward. Maybe so.
It’s probably not going to matter who wins the Republican nomination...Obama will have a war chest of a billion dollars, a fawning media, and a chorus of “we can let the first black president go down in defeat.” Voters, dead and alive, will be voting in heavy numbers and walking around money will be flowing in Ohio, Florida, Missouri, and Virginia...any Republican will have to win by more than 6 or 7% to overcome the fraud factor. The Senate is the key at this point...taking it back will set up 2016...
Newt is just another big gov. repub, much like rove and bush.
pretty much all that needs to be said.
Normally I would say that we could run a corpse in 2012 and beat Barry due to probable $6 per gallon gas and 25% or more inflation. But my best friend agrees with you that Barry can gin up enough fraudulent votes to steal the election and maybe so. If we can say no to the GOP elites and put up Bachmann or Cain agains’t Barry then there is enough of a contrast to win. Just my opinion.
No matter the outcome of the presidential race we are facing a financial collapse in the next 2-3 years that will be almost impossible to avert. The Congress is just not capable of taking the necessary action to prevent it so we all need to hope for the best but plan for the worst. I would suggest our plan which is 2 years worth of food and the means to protect it. The grocery store may not be a very reliable option at some point.
Everyone in tv news knows Paul Schur was not fired from fox. After the person he trained for his fox job left for NPR, they wanted to hire him back. He was never fired.
