Not really. Actually crops may cost less. Farmers will have to work harder.. It is more work taking care of large draft animals than a tractor.

The farmer and his family will eat. They will not get rich, but they will have food for their table.

The masses who live in the cities will either pay the high prices or starve.

Our elected public servants have talked about the US being energy self sufficient since 1973.

37 years later we are more dependent on other nations than we were in '73.
