I have been saying this from the beginning. If he runs it will be as an Independent. I would think he would siphon votes from both sides since he has a liberal record but is trying to act as a conservative lately.
Get ready for a two-term Obama, then.
He forced Obama to show the birth certificate. It’s fake, but nonetheless it’s out there, and no one else was able to even get him to show the fake one.
You are all wrong, he is running to help Hillary become the next president. Trump is going to tale out zero with the info his detectives have dug up.
Trump promised an investigation into all of Obama’s secrets. We got zilch.
No one is stupid enough to vote for Trump.
He was fun while he lasted.

Perot part 2.
Must be some choice Chicago real estate he’s after if he is willing to destroy America by helping the Naked Marxist get reelected.
Your not persuading anyone by endlessly posting this spam. It’s tiresome, impresses no one and makes you look lazy. Trump is NOT a conservative. For every good thing you add to your spam list, there are 10 bad things. Having a long, long track record of supporting Democrats and being a Johnnie-come-lately pseudo conservative does not make “the Donald” a serious option to conservative voters.
And if Trump the clown runs as an indie everyone knows that will only serve to divide the anti-Hussein vote and help Obama stay in office.
If Trump does run 3rd party, anyone who supported him should be ashamed of themselves and embarrassed by having been fooled by this tool.
Trump will never be President of the United States, but he could help Hussein retain the office by either making a mockery of the Republican primary or running independent.
I've missed that. Can you direct me to when/where?
So make your own list.
That’s his get a weak Democrat president re-elected platform, not what he’s supported politically for his entire life.
I can’t believe so many Freepers fell for it—doesn’t bode well for the GOP in 2012.
The part that makes no sense is: how would that benefit Trump?
What makes you think that Trump’s gumshoes can sniff out anything new that hasn’t already been exposed here at Free Republic?
You obviously haven't hear his speech on how critically important it is to defeat Obama in 2012.
I can’t believe how stupid people were to vote for Perot in 1992!
This reminds me of something a female caller on Levin’s show said a few weeks ago. She said the laws were changed in 1980 (after John Anderson’s candidacy) to prevent a candidate who ran in a presidential primary (party primary) and lost, to run as an Independent in the general election. Mark said he hadn’t heard about that law. I do NOT know election law, but I am trying to remember if the Ralph Naders of the world ran in any Democratic primaries and then later run as a Greenie or whatever.
If that is indeed the case, Trump running as an independent might confirm that someone has looked up the existence of such a law.
Could also be just another attention-getting stunt (the tweet, not factuallydoing it) to try and rekindle interest in him and promote himself.
Last Sunday on Celebrity Apprentice he said he loves gays.
I think the whole birth certificate thing was a set-up for Zero. It made (some) people think Trump would make a good opposing candidate because he was so outspoken and ragged on Obama. Then The Won releases the long form. That (and taking out Osama bin Laden) shut up the birthers, including...[drum roll]...Donald Trump! His only platform is anti-China rhetoric, foul language, and bad hair. He's a shyster and as much of a narcissist as Obama.
Just like on top of his head, a straw...
I confess. I did it. I voted for Perot in 1992.
I...sent...them...a...MESSAGE! Damn right I did.
Boy, was that ever a mistake...
