Were you off-world in 2008?

Does your question imply that McLame would not have been the nominee without a Huckster in the race?

If so, who would it have been?

There are those who imagined that "The Huck" was a stalking horse for Romney. Were they wrong? Was he instead a stalking horse for the Time Magazine candidate of the decade ~ McCain?

Or, maybe, as some suspect, he decided to run for President and see what he could do.

Here's another thought for you. Way back in the various primary campaigns over the last decade the Rev. Al Sharpton struck many as the SMARTEST guy running in the Democrat primaries.

Sorry for the rude question.

But what I meant wasn’t that Huckabee gave us McCain (though he helped) but rather that 2008 was an utter fiasco and Huckabee was a big part of that.
