I read this neat verse this morning and could not resist posting it in response to your question:
Revelation 2:17 (New International Version) Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.
Millions far more devout than I could ever hope to be have died of starvation over the millenia.
I’ll attempt to prepare for myself and as many others as possible in this life, and pray that God has mercy on my soul in the next.
