Oops, I’m sorry if I’m a broken record :-)), I’m so embarrassed, lol. I try not to post the same thing, and I definitely don’t want to sound like my parents are victims (they never talked about it and hardly do to this day), but I’m so in shock over what is going on.
I think you’re right about each generation. It hasn’t helped that Hollywood made almost zero movies about their friends, the Communists (China, USSR, Cuba, or anywhere else). The idiots wearing Che shirts and Obama shirts and yelling class warfare crap have no clue.
Yikes about your friends.... I know there are still a few good ones left who are on “our side,” but right now, it’s hard for me to see that. ESPECIALLY with the Pima Cty Sheriff’s Dept....
Not a broken record at all, I have found each post to be different and insightful, I like to hear the experiences of lots of people, and I thank you.

It’s very, very true. There are few out there who still do good for the community, but they have largely been institutionalized out of the system. (Don’t rat on each other, etc.). I have met a very few outstanding law enforcement officers, but they are few and far between. I’d say about a third are decent, but only maybe one in ten, if that, are the kind of person that is worthy of holding a badge. They may have once been, but like I’ve said before, there is a reason that the saying is “Power corrupts,” because it’s a proven fact that even perceived power corrupts all but the most stalwart of men. And they are usually the ones who don’t want it, and will readily lay it down (Exactly how we got the “Sheriff” in the first place).
