A U.S. official said he did not know if the Pakistanis had offered a peak to the Chinese...Really? Four writers for a major news outlet and none of them caught this?

A U.S. official said he did not know if the Pakistanis had offered a peak to the Chinese I'll bet they'd be even more interested in a peek.

That portion of the globe... Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan... Nothing a dozen or two thermonuclear devices wouldn't improve...

And China would do what with it?? Like they need a stealth helicopter fleet.
To: Justaham
It would have made a lot of sense to lob a cruise missile in there to obliterate the high-tech debris.

Makes you want to start blowing stuff up until the Paki’s start to feel the love and understand that we will keep blowing stuff up until they give us access to EVERYTHING we want!
They need to be “bitch slapped” so hard their collective heads will spin for a month!

You can’t expect our fearless leader to think of every detail can you?

I would demand the return of the helicopter. No helicopter, no aid.

I’m sure we could give them a close-up look at lots of military hardware. I’d recommend starting with several Tomahawks.

I also posted this article about 15 minutes ago, but the mods used yours.
Anyway, my take is that actions have consequences, and that is not something a rank amateur like Ubama would think of.
He got his propaganda victory to use in his campaign ads, but his ‘gutsy’ call will be answered in a ‘gutsy’ way by Pakistan, jeopardizing not only U.S. security but also increasing tension with our ally, India.
Nevertheless, getting to spike the football was worth it all for ubama.

Bombing begins in 10 minutes! (oh, wait, that won’t help obama in the polls)

The Pakis need to be reminded that the remains of the helicopter are still U.S. property.

But don't you feel so much safer with bin Laden dead?

I would demand the return of the helicopter. No helicopter, no aid. Well, uh, go right ahead and see what the response is, considering how much we have pissed them off already. Come to think of it, just push them firmly into the China camp. This will really help both the U.S. and our ally, India. All thanks to the colossally inept, er uh I mean 'gutsy', Ubama.

If the Chinese are allowed to see the wreckage, it may not be the first time the Chinese military was given an opportunity to benefit technologically from America's misfortune. In 1999 an American stealth F-117 Nighthawk bomber was shot down in Serbia, the wreckage of which was reportedly passed along to the Chinese.

Yes they do. The invasion of Taiwan would be easy if they get behind defenses. The Taiwanese would be pinned between them and an amphibious assault.
