Perhaps one person went over board. Someone yelled,"Man overboard! Starboard side!" Everyone runs to Starboard side to see what happened and ship capsizes. This has happened off Haiti several times. Can happened very easily in rough waters....
Disclaimer: Not trying to be funny or cute with disaster such as this. Merely stating such a scenario is possible...Cousin Earl found such to be the case several years ago while cat fishing...
