NO!!! The REWARD goes to those who killed him!

Give it to the "Wounded Warriors Foundation"!!!!

(not to another liberal vote buying scheme!)

Want to bet it’s already in a Yemeni bank accout owned by the 27 yr old “widow” who will probably use a US law firm to successfully sue the US government for another $100 million

Give bin Laden bounty to 9/11 survivors

How about we don't give any "reward" and save the taxpayers some money instead...for a change.

Sure is easy to piss away the money when it isn't yours.

What do you do when you have “extra money” that’s been approved and no longer has a purpose?

If you’re a politician you try to buy votes.

Cynical emotional pandering by Weiner, just using any means necessary to get more government money to his constituents and to show his phony compassion.

NO WAY. Many of them have been compensated already generously. More money won’t bring their loved ones back.
Maybe a college fund for the children. Maybe buy a new helicopter.

Giving more money to the families at this point cheapens their memory IMHO.

September 11th Victim Compensation Fund:

"At the end of the process $7 billion was awarded to 97% of the families; the average payout was $1.8 million."

I KNOW New York is an expensive place, and I KNOW you can't put a price tag on a loved one's life -- but geez -- now they want to award MORE?

Any politician that calls for wealth transfer from people who have earned it to those who haven’t, you can bet s/he is a Dem. I knew they were Dems the moment I saw the headline.

Our military men did what they were paid to do.

The money goes back to where it came from. The taxpayers.

Or maybe BO will claim the money for himself seeing that he was the one that sky-dived in from space, personally shot Bin Laden with AK-47 (holding it sideways), and then cut his head off with a rusty letter opener?

Right,
Another stupid ideal from a stupid democRAT Obamite!

WE taxpayers have already given about $ 3,000,000 blood money to each victim's heirs to compensate for the criminal negligence of the Clintonistas

How stupid?

Don’t give it to anyone. It’s not the politicians to give away. It’s money taken by force from the American taxpayer or borrowed, without consent, from future taxpayers. The ONLY acceptable use is to apply it toward the national debt.

I agree; the families of the bond brokers and the other bystanders sadly killed at the WTC have gotten enough of taxpayers money. The families of the Oklahoma City bombing didn’t get a dime, as did virtually all families of those killed by other crimes; moreover, the families of those killed in service to their country used to get virtually nothing.

>>>> NO WAY. Many of them have been compensated already generously >>>

AMEN to that. Many American families lost loved ones on 9-11 that have nothing to do with the attacks, and of course, every day since then - yet some want to continue to act like those families are more important and those losses more painful than every other death in national history. It is getting tiresome.

Serial grieving has become a well paid cottage industry to many of them.

Correct. It is our money. Let the taxpayers decide where it should go. The Wounded Warrior Foundation is a worthy cause. The national debt is another area that needs an infusion.

Use it to post bounties on the heads of other terrorists. Like Bill Ayers.

If the reward were to go to the people that killed him, split among the members of the seal team, than I would be perfectly happy.

Giving it to the wounded warriors foundation is no more "giving it to the people that killed him" than giving it to 9/11 survivors.
