I guess I missed that. I see no mention of gunfire. The tweets are very enlightening as far as timeline and other details though. 11 minutes from time of "hovering helicopter" and "huge window shaking bang". Then 46 minutes later reports "all silent". That "bang" is a little early in the timeline to be blowing the chopper.

Roger that. Makes you wonder if they drilled with the same pilot and aircraft. No doubt we'd still be oblivious had we not lost the chopper. Probably why it took the WH so long to get their first BS story together.
I don’t think the 3-5 minutes remark came in the Tweets, but rather in one of the interviews he gave later. I’d hope we wouldn’t know if the chopper had survived, but I have big doubts on that. I don’t think this gang could keep their mouths shut and delay their gloating. Bush/Cheney could have, but would have had to tell the Congressional ‘Intelligence’ committees and one of the Rats would have leaked it from there.
