Cain is the first politician I have heard since Reagan say that tax cuts pay for themselves. Bush cut taxes but was suprised when tax revenue went up. Other politicians, D and R, talk about “paying for” tax cuts, as if they won’t pay for themselves. Also, Cain talks about cutting the capital gains tax, (proven to increase revenue), and getting rid of corporate taxation altogether, (double taxation). He also talks about serious budget cuts, combining departments, which is like eliminating departments, etc. I don’t care that he is black, I voted for Lynn Swann for Governor of PA when I lived there, but you sound like you have a problem with it.

One of the tenants of Conservative economic ideology is that the Fed does not own the money supply. Except for tarrifs and other forms of fees not related to income... ALL Money is derived from our wages and earnings. When a tax cut occurs, what happens is that the PEOPLE get to keep more of what RIGHTFULLY belongs to them in the first place. Tax cuts do not pay for themselves... they grow the economy because those funds are invested and/or spent on items which cause others to become employed and then their earnings are spent/invested and expansion takes place. Every dollar of tax money spent by the government, steals many dollars from the private sector growth funds.
