To: Coffee_drinker

I heard a rumor that he supported/supports TARP. If this is true then he is no longer a good candidate for POTUS, in my mind. Can someone confirm or deny the rumor that I have just presented?

Here’s what I found after a quick search.

“Conceptually, I agreed with TARP at first. But when they implemented TARP, they made the rules up as they went along. They were partial to big banks rather than making sure that money went to community banks and small banks; it caused a lot of problems. They did it the wrong way.”

Seems that he was in favor of TARP but felt it was a payout to the big boys.
