SO WHAT? There is no RIGHT to become president only constitutional requirements. If you can't meet them, which yes, you have to be able to prove it, you are disqualified. The fact that your mother was on welfare and would lose it if the father was known and living in the home, is a consequence of your own actions. YOU have disqualified your own children. If you have indiscriminate sex with so many men that you don't even know who the father is, the kids are disqualified. If you are an illegal alien with anchor babies, they can't be natural born citizens. Out of luck!

It just hit me.

Do we really know if Bill Clinton is a “Natural Born Citizen”? Was there a paternity test done to show who his father was? If so it wouldn't be as accurate as a DNA test.

This would be a great way to eliminate candidates for U.S. presidents. If it is not possible to obtain a DNA sample from the corpse of their father or say the body has been cremated, hey tough luck. This should be the first question of all candidates for U.S. president. Where is your DNA test results of you and your father?

The law doesn’t care much at all about biology.

The legal father is the person listed on the legal document certifying live birth.

This has been established via many a man finding out after the fact that he isn’t the father (and 10% of children are not biologically related to their legal father) - and then finding out THE LAW DOES NOT CARE.

So even if you could prove via DNA that Malcolm X or Franklin Marshall Davis or Martin Luther King was ‘really’ the father - as a matter of law it wouldn’t matter one bit.
