One minor.......and I do mean MINOR detail. If a man in his late 20’s is having carnal knowledge with a 14 year old child, it is defined as rape. If a man, who is given legal custody of a 14 year old child has sex with his charge, it is an incestuous rape. As far as I know, there is no statute of limitations for a rape charge, and there is written proof. The parents of the child should have charges brought against them for pimping their daughter for profit, and I am sure you could prove the profit part too.

The man wasn’t a saint, no. By the way, as to his becoming the guardian/lover of an underaged girl...Ted Nugent....whom I love and most here do, as well.....did exactly the same thing. Don’t see him being verbally castrated here.
It was a different time. Rock is its own world. Don’t judge. Tyler, by all accounts, is now one hell of a guy and has a big heart. I believe it, just as I know Ted has changed in his latter years.
For others who point and crow at these guys, imagine yourself as a young, 20-something rock star with gorgeous babes throwing themselves at you everywhere you go, people giving you anything you want at any time, people adoring you on stage night after night, year after year....live that life for a while then tell me what a priest you’d be.
I don’t know if he said somewhere else that he thought he had done wrong by having intercourse with a 14 y.o., taking her away from her parents, and impregnating her. Likely giving her drugs as well.

Not to mention, from the description, this was a saline abortion, hence a late one - how long did it take the two of them to figure out she was pregnant and decide they didn’t want a baby, anyway? You can probably feel the child kicking by that point.
Well that’s all well and good except, the time frame he is speaking of is the 70’s. The laws have been revised radically since. One of the ‘boyfriends’ I had at the time was 25....I was 15. It was not viewed the same way as it is today.
2nd point..if you’ll bear with me: The parents of this girl allowed him to become guardian. What weight would they carry? They knowlingly transferred guardanship (probably thinking they would make a bloody fortune from a “rock-star’.
