THEY allowed it. They are the justice department. I think they were trying to stoke the notion that most of the guns used in mexican violence were coming from the U.S. Remember there were stories in the MSM about lack of gun control on the border. So, let me get this straight - the ATF/Justice Dept allowed this to happen to make it look like the Mexicans were 'getting guns from inside the USA' and thereby 'make it look like we need "MORE GUN CONTROL" in the USA?? - do I have this warped rationale right?
