When GWB captured Saddam Hussein, they cheered for the guy the threw a shoe at him yet they raise BHO up on their shoulders and tout themselves as the “national defense” party. Hypocrites one and all.

I wonder how many of the Obama supporters of Bin Laden’s execution would support the death penalty in general for convicted murderers? How about the death penalty for Bin Laden himself if we had captured him alive? I bet none.

Mr. Bush was correct in not legitimizing this political theater with his presence, particularly after all the unfounded, misplaced criticism he faced during his presidency. He can be secure in the knowledge that all the tools that were used in the operation to take out bin Laden, as well as a fair degree of the intelligence, were the product of his administration’s efforts. The president who stood on the smoking ruins of the Twin Towers pledging American resolve in the war on terrorism does not have to return there to participate in the first photo op of Mr. Obama’s reelection campaign.

I'm not sure any other event has blown the cover off the shameless hypocrisy of the left more clearly than this has.

Do they really, really think that Americans don't remember the constant drumbeat of hatred against President Bush for doing the very things that they are now praising Obama for carrying out?

I know the left is filled with elitist morons, but do they actually think we're THIS stupid??

We are right back to the Obama that had to see himself on television at least twice a month. This man is so completely enamored with himself that he just can’t pass up on an opportunity to be in the limelight. I would imagine that he is seeing himself in history books of the future taking the bows for the job that Bush’s Navy Seals have done. And, since the libs write history, I am relatively certain he is correct. The one thing we can hope for is that this pretender is a one-term President - no amount of re-writing of history can whitewash that.
