Obama invited former President George W. Bush and former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani to hear him speak at the former site of the World Trade Center. Bush declined, and Giuliani’s status is unclear, but those are the kinds of guests one would invite for a major political event.

From all reports, Odumbo has taken a little instruction from the restraint of a President who is a real class act and has decided not to speak at Ground Zero. Perhaps we will be spared yet another campaign speech based on death and destruction.

As to my personal feelings on the matter, I wouldn’t want to see W anywhere near Obama for any reason.
It’s like when Bush met with the families after 9/11, IN PRIVATE AND WITH NO CAMERAS. No way the Obamessiah would pass up a photo op like that.
So let me ask a question. What do you suppose would incite muslims worldwide more? A photo of a d.e.d. bin laden? or the sight of G W Bush CELEBRATING his death at Ground Zero?
And don’t you think that obama knows this full well? Or do you think he has suddenly found a soft spot in his heart for Bush?

I can’t remember if it was tv local news or radio that I heard yesterday that Guiliani was going to give a speech here in MI (maybe college graduation?) vs the Ground Zero thing.
I heard Bill Clinton declined as well.
