President Obama didn’t see Osama bin Laden get shot but got word that he was killed after a team said “Geronimo,” the code word to signify the terrorist was captured, CIA Director Leon Panetta says.
Panetta said in an interview with PBS that the officials in the Situation Room “didn’t know just exactly what was going on” for 20 to 25 minutes when the team sent to get bin Laden in Pakistan entered his compound on Sunday.
“There were some very tense moments as we were waiting for information,” Panetta said. “But finally Admiral [William] McRaven came back and said he had picked up the word 'Geronimo,' which was the code word that represented they got bin Laden.”

“Geronimo KIA” was the code sent meaning Bin Laden was dead. Where is the outrage from the American Indian community, for using an American Indian name for the code word for the worlds most wanted man? If Bush would have done that, you know you would have heard something.
is it me or does it appear that yet again, this Administration is not releasing the photo(s)/video or whatever exists? I think they want some opposition to speak up and create a ruckus and then they drop the photo like they did that BC, to shut everyone up. All future questions of the Admin will be made with hesitancy so that they feel they have the trump card (no pun intended) on every line of questioning.
In the first place, it is really difficult to believe they had live feed from the scene. I mean, really!!
Oh hey, did you catch the ABC interview with Condi Rice this morning where she sternly stated, “There is no reason to not believe bin Laden is dead.” And she reiterated that it occurred during this operation.
I think she is positioning herself to endorse Obama’s re-election, saving it for a key moment as Colin Powell did. Just my opinion, of course.

The more they change their stories, the more it looks like they’re covering things up, and the more it gives way to kook conspiracy theories. It’s really sad, and there’s no need for this.
