Actually, Obama kept GITMO open (for whatever reason), sent more troops to Afghanistan (I think they should all be brought home), and kept the Patriot Act. In short, he kept a lot of Bush’s policies. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. And now, under his presidency, Bin Laden has been killed. Can’t you just be happy for that?

We still have plenty of time to criticize his fiscal and social policies and hopefully we can find someone to run in 2012 who can beat him. But for now, I am a proud American.

Obama did send more troops to Afghanistan BUT tightened the rules of engagement, the death toll under him has surpassed Bush’s 8 yrs. The War is NOT over and while we are here celebrating like our home team won the Super Bowl, there will be retribution and our troops will take the direct hit, I just wonder if Obama will allow them to protect themselves.

I am happy for the country that Bin Laden’s dead but Obama and the other Libs fought Bush tooth and nail only to keep the same policies which led to Bin Laden’s death in the end.

I will not give Obama one ounce of credit till he steps forward and apologizes for slandering our Commander In Chief President Bush.

To give Obama credit now only validates his previous attempts to lose the war in order to make President Bush look bad and I will forever refuse to do it.

I bet he didn't even offer to share the podium with President Bush prior to his press conference.
