It was probably just BS but a SEAL recently discharged in 1983 told me he had to do as much as he could (5th) while on his first “night-out” with the guys. It was just anecdotal, obviously not a Navy requirement.

It was just anecdotal, obviously not a Navy requirement. Eyedigress, you might ask Freeper Travis McGee whether there was/is a standing SEAL tradition about this. He should know since he is a former Navy SEAL(commissioned officer).
