Or, it's just a mistake made by an idiot reporter. The story says he was buried at sea in the Persian Gulf at 0100. Take it from a guy who has been there - it's a 7 or 8-hour time difference this time of year between New York and that part of the world (the Persian Gulf is so big, it has two separate time zones. So, it would have been appx 1700-1800 local (NYC) time (1-day earlier) when he was discharged to the sea.

I went back through the threads from last night and the news began talking about it shortly after midnight (central - my time)here so you know it was already a done deal. That’s two hours after Obama’s speech at 10 pm (central). Midnight here would have been 11 am in Pakistan. Reports are saying the attack was at 1:30 to 2:00 am there. That backs up the many posts from last night that he was dumped within 10 hours.
