Here’s what it is that I’m looking at, from my perspective on this announcement of OBL being killed in Pakistan, and immediately buried at sea.
Sunday May 1st. it was announced in the evening that Obama would be making an announcement. Not a clue as to what the announcement was about, but still later in the evening at the time the late announcement about the killing of OBL finally happened there existed an apparently large crowd of merrymakers outside the Whitehouse expressing their jubilation in what can only be called an exuberant, perhaps animated fashion. This was well covered by CBS news my wife and myself were watching after reading about the OBL event on FR, and reading about Obama to make an announcement.
Were the participants bussed in as the Democrats do so often with instructions to make merry as I saw on CBS news over the information that OBL was finally killed? Obama was an hour, or so later in making his announcement perhaps to allow the accumulation of merrymakers outside the WH fences. I don’t know, but the track record of the Democrats, and the track record of the Liar In Chief cause me suspicion.
As we were waiting, and waiting, and waiting for Obama to step up to the podium, and make his announcement FR, and CBS news had already tipped us off that OBL was the topic, and that he had been killed, and the President was going to address the issue. During the discussion, the filler time if you will leading up to Obama’s finally arriving at the podium “Chief Correspondent” Mikelewsky”, or however his name is spelled was proudly stating how they have internet sources they reference when something is happening with regard to “terrorist activity”, and he said how strange it was there was no activity whatsoever on those various “terrorist sites”, and he went on that normally those sites would be alive with chatter especially when something of importance such as the killing of one of their own leaders was involved.
That tidbit from I believe it was Jim Mikelewski (Note: I do NOT normally watch tv, so I don’t know these people like those that do.) did not escape my wife, nor myself as we observed the evening news announcements.
This morning as we arose at 3:00 AM, and I turned on the ‘puter to catch up to the news here at FR I saw the news for the first time that OBL was buried at sea quickly “in respect for Islamic law”. Uh Hunh!
Obama has a track record of lying. The Democrat Party since it was absconded by the radical Left has a track record of doing anything, be it lying, cheating, stealing, whatever to win their direction, their goals which are anti-American, Marxist in nature.
Obama is up for reelection next year, and needs desperately to recover his momentum lost during these first years of his misAdministration of our Nation in seeking those aforementioned radical Marxist goals. He has many more such goals to fulfill, and needs the next four years to achieve that which he must to completely wreck our Constitution, and instill a Marxist government.
I don’t buy the story that has been handed to us as I don’t see enough proof that it actually happened. I see the Democrats, Obama saying “Trust Me, it happened. We got OBL”
The proof is how many feet under water right now, and where is the typical chatter on the internet sources for the news reporters as stated by Mikelewski?
I take this announcement of bin Laden’s death with a grain of salt.

It absolutely is incredulous to assert that bin Laden could live there without the explicit approval of the Pakistani government, at least in MHO. The Pakistanis are NOT our friends, and they never have been.

I understand your POV (espcially given the history of our current lying White House occupant). And I can certainly imagine it happening. I stated in a previous post that I am cynical and we may have known OBL's whereabouts for some time before "taking him down".
On the other hand, I could go along with the possibility of the scenario you put forth. But only if something was communicated -- via back-channels-- for OBL to remain out of sight at least through 2012 elections. LOL. How is that for cynical!
Since DC itself is mostly black and those celebrants were mostly young and white I'm thinking staffers rather than a spontaneous crowd.
