Let me tell you. I’ve been a FReeper for 11 years. I lurked for three before that. Spent most of them at war. I’ve been shot at. Mortared. Rocketed. Seen vehicles in front of me blown to pieces. Later, I worked as a trainer in Iraq and Afghanistan, sending a generation of troops after threats large and small.
Today is a day of celebration for us. I don’t know what you’ve done in your life to make you think you can speak like that to me.
I have friends all over the world, SOF, conventional and intel, who are celebrating. I’m going to celebrate with them.
Enjoy your life, for whatever it is, and forget we spoke.
Go celebrate and leave the mental defectives to cry in their diapers.
I thought freerepublic was better than DUmp. If this site allows a member to talk to an outstanding citizen as yourself like that then this site is worse then that DUmp.
Celebrations are understandable, but some wars are long. To me, celebration is premature, although if others start cheering and such I’ll join in.
Still, regarding you in particular and your current disagreement with cripplecreek here’s three things to consider:
(1) The Somalia pirate shooting, and Obama’s actions during it and his reaction afterward. Back in 2009 Obama himself was saying that Bin Laden was not important.
(2) Obama is not exactly a great commander, imo, he’s a traitor. A usurper, a fraud. History says such things happen at times, they are not unknown. The Borgias for one example. Celebrating this Osama event overmuch can not help but increase the evil power and miserable duration of the Obama event.
(3) You might as well be deep in the Hurtgren Forest. What kind of true American hero uses his “service” to mock a fellow citizen? Grin and bear it. Reading this “worship my service you peon” crap makes me sick. Doesn’t do anyone a single good.
