I suspect that OBL has actually been dead since Tora Bora. It was politically necessary to keep him “alive” because the left including the press had cast the entire effort as an attempt to kill OBL and his demise would bring a great trumpeting of “The War Is Over! We Must Bring The Troops Home!” that would have made further prosecution of the campaigns difficult if not impossible. The war was never about “getting Osama.” No major nation has ever waged or will ever wage a war to kill one man. I see it as possible that OBL is “killed” now because the Kenyan has decided to pull the plug on our defense in the Islamic War.
Isn't it a damn shame we can't tell what is the truth.
