Remember, capturing and killing Saddam Hussein didn’t stop George W. Bush’s poll numbers from eventually dropping into the low 30s. And George H.W. Bush had a 90% approval rating right after Desert Storm only 22 months before losing his re-election bid in ‘92.
High unemployment, soaring gas and food prices, rising inflation, exploding debt, and an highly unpopular ObamaCare law will all very soon collectively rear its ugly head once again and the death of Usama Bin Laden will quickly become a distant memory for most Americans.
