Looked like a classic homeless schizophrenic. Odd body movements, emaciated, dirty, etc etc. I give money to them when they ask on the street. But a 1 am door knock is something else entirely.

Having had someone knock on my door at 2am, I know exactly how you feel.

Bathtubs in the home kill more people than guns in the home.

When they come out for no bikes, cars or swimming pools then I’ll take them seriously.

Planned Parenthood anywhere in the Country kills more people than guns in the home. I’m done now. Liberals suck.

what are the risk factors of a doctor killing you? Does that mean you should never see a doctor?

“What do the scientific studies suggest that gun safes do?”

Every study I’ve seen shows a a gun that is unloaded and locked up out of reach is worthless except for planning a hunting trip some time in the future.

And that’s why attachable magazine fed pistols, rifles and shotguns are the best for home defense. I’ve even devised a system for single shot shotguns which allows a parent to keep ammunition in a ‘sleeve’ which quickly slaps onto the buttstock and allows for rapid reloading but can be kept separate from the weapon when not in use. I made several in .410 gage and sold them all at one gunshow. It was a hit for women to use as home defense when they have prying little hands still in the home.

What's that you say?

My hearing loss is mostly from beating on steal with hammers.

Shipyard, oilfield, farm work. Nothing can do what a good hammer can do except a bigger hammer.

Three hundred people died in the tornados down South this week. I wonder if there are even 300 real, honest-to-goodness accidental deaths—not murders or suicides—with guns in the home in a year. I suspect more than 300 scumbags are killed by armed homeowners during home invasions each year.

I don't have any small children in my home now, but I have 6 loaded guns in several rooms of my home.

When something needs shooting, you have to have the correct tool ready to go in seconds.

I can see where the same critter ( coyote ), in the same place (my back yard),would require 3 different guns.

If he is close, under 40 yards, it will likely get gassed with a shotgun.( they might see or hear me open the window) At 50-70 yds I would likely grab the 22 semi-auto for quick follow-up shots. At the far edge of the back yard (150 yds) it will get a 6mm 87 gr match hollowpoint @ 3400 fps right through the guts.

I shoot something out the window almost every day, year round. I need lots of different loaded guns.

It's a sad problem. Lazamataz turns out to be an AI program on one of
Free Republic's servers, and if we don't make our goal in this FReepathon,
Laz will have to be deleted because he uses so much bandwidth hitting
people, places, and things.

Here's a picture of the real Laz:

“Maybe it’s because I feed them so good I got happy guns, so they don’t attack me and cause me health problems.”

Absolutely; I would only add to remember to give them plenty of exercise.

You got happy guns too?

Your happy guns aren’t causing you health problems by shooting you?

Apparently I’ve had a couple that I didn’t exercise enough or maybe too much because they were unhappy and walked off.

I’d love to find who they too up a home with.
