You asserted, “... handled it the way every other document from 40 years ago was handled ...” Why would you try to foist that demonstrably false assertion upon fellow freepers? You must know that your assertion is false because the layering now detectable in this piece of fabrication released by the WHite House, layering done by building several images onto each other to generate the ‘final image’ is not the way every document has been handled for the past forty years, and in fact the state of Hawaii claims they have not been doing digital imagery for forty years. When you try to push an obvious untruth at FR, be aware that you will be called on it! Pushing falsehoods in defense of criminals like barry bassturd makes you very suspect.

The layering is an artifact of the software being used to OPEN the document. You use different software you get another effect.

Why don't you try opening it in FrontPage ~ now that'll give you some effects.

This "layering" story is one of the issues that's been addressed time and time again by professionals in the field, including Freepers who've been in the business for ages.

What YOU need to do is come back to us with some explanation of why we should give a big rat's a~~ about it.

BTW, stick to the subject. Forty years ago this document (or a fake one just like it with a different name) was being handled in a particular fashion (1) as it was created, (2) as it was turned into microfiche for the purpose of easily providing copies, (3) as it was stored between two binding covers held with one bolt.

What happened 20 years ago is different. What happened yesterday is still more different.

I really don't want to have to explain the concept of the flow of time to you, but you seem not to get it.
