You bet your sweet arse I can’t stand the Left. ;)
Honestly though, best wishes to them. Let’s hope they stay married, unlike so many others.

Like I said, its just an honorary post, rather than an active one. His active rank is that of a Flight Lieutenant in the RAF Search and Rescue Helicopter Force (SARF)...

There’s a shamrock on William’s collar. Now I know why.

Not to be snarky, but Charles really looks a bit confused. Not all there.

That would be pretty hot if the queen skipped over Charles and gave the crown to William.

Now, I wonder me, what insisigia the prince of wales wear?
Does he waer the insignia of a leftenant?
How does that work - they just had a flyover of B-17 bombers in his honor, as future King of England.
Actually, I have never understood the Brits - and I have been thereby embarrassed. Don’t drink until the head of the table does, don’t smoke until the lamp is lit, don’t sing those crass American songs...
Sigh. I suspect I will never get it.

You just have to be assigned to a Cav unit. Even the S2, SIGO and Chaplain in a Cav Squadron or Regiment are eligible for spurs!

An act of Parliament governs the succession since 1701. The Queen has no say. Since the Stature of Westminster in 1931 made all the Commonwealth Dominions equal to the United Kingdom, that means to change the succession all the 16 countries of which Queen Elizabeth II is head of state have to agree in order to change the succession.
16 prime ministers, 16 cabinets, 16 parliaments. Imagine the potential political food fight.

Next year is the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s reign. A child born to Will and Kate would be a wonderful gift.

The flyover was done for at least 2 reasons:
1. William serves in the RAF. The 4 jets were Tornados and Typhoons.
2. The WW2 planes (Lancaster, Spitfire, and Hurricane) were included because William is a patron of the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which maintains and flies the old ones.

Wow - your first statement confirms the second.
