And I thought the little pages looked grand in their knock-offs of the Irish Guard tunic. Just precious.

I have got to admit, the Brits have always had sharp looking uniforms.

Prince William looks like a cartoon field marshal.
Coming from an American raised in a republican spirit who despises hereditary titles and priveledges in the political arena.

Did you see Charles? Quite the hero...

Thank the Irish in this case...

Prince William looks like a cartoon field marshal. I am confident that you could fill a phone booth with all of the people that would agree with that comment.

I got married in spurs, too.

I have got to admit, the Brits have always had sharp looking uniforms. I fully agree but believe the United States Marine Corps dress uniform compares favorably with theirs; and perhaps, in its simplicity, is superior.

I get the republican concept and I respect it - but why pick on Charles?
Until Prince Charles e.g. leaves a woman to suffocate in a submerged car and gets away with it: I have to say that it looks like its American royalty that get all the privileges.
You may not call them royalty, yet they are granted immunities and despotic powers that no British Monarch has enjoyed since the Tudors.
No disrespect meant - I know you despise the lawless despots of the Left as much as I do.

I heard he was fuming about some of the gifts he received from his grandmother and the PM.. A bunch of scratched DVDs that he can’t seem to play and a regifted MP3 player with about 70% of the memory filled with some wanker talking to himself.

He is the colonel of the regiment of the Irish Guards. It is an honorary post, but it is his highest rank in the armed forces...
