Stuff it...I have an opinion based on my observations and experience...(the veil and her hair could have been far better).....you have yours...we disagree...end of story.
Hey! He stole my line I posted earlier! First thing I thought of and mentioned the mad hatter even looked better. Wonder if I can sue for lifting that off FR....wouldn’t that make for a great donation!
Apparently, you never attended charm school. Insulting everyone you disagree with will not persuade your audience. Tally ho!
Oh for crying out loud! Still wanting to sustain such ridiculous conversation....just leave it alone.
ROFLMAO! Didn’t see Charles riding Horseface until now!
Thanks for posting this - my wife sent me an email informing me that the “L” on the front of the car, surrounded by hearts, is in reference to the a learning plate that must be displayed on the fronts and backs of cars being driven by young drivers....nice little joke, which I’m assuming was done by his brother.
no I haven’t . She did check in about a month ago at another forum...just a short hello post. Said she was busy & had computer problems at home etc. She & Dad at that point were both okay.
I was thinking of her today also & would have loved to have had her input on the thread. Sure she was watching on TV if not there herself with a flag waving!
They seem like good people! I wish them much happiness. Funny thing, I hadn’t been interested one iota in the whole royal wedding hoopla up until I watched the wedding, since I happened to be up at 5 am anyways and usually have on Fox! I love the decadence of Old world England royalty schtuff for some reason. Maybe it’s the little girl still in us that gets pulled in to the fairytale princess aspect of it. Anyways, I think Kate is lovely, but I was slightly dissapointed in her wedding look. I think the hair needed to be either more “flowy” or up-do poufy. She did not need as much makeup as she wore, I would have liked to see glossy lips and a more fresh/youthful eye.
I agree. What is she, late 20’s? She looked too old for her age! She looked older at least than the pics we’ve seen of her the past few weeks in her normal attire.
They’re a very cute couple.
Didn’t bother to watch the ceremony, didn’t care for all the frou-frou, but all the news channels, of course, showed snippets.
Didn’t seem like much of a wedding but rather a “who will show up with the ugliest hat contest.”
Those silly Brits and their headgear.
What a hoot!
Does anyone have the action picture of Pippa wagging her butt posted yesterday?
Well Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of her as well. I’ll pray that she and her dad are doing well.
Thinking they reported she is 29 yrs. old. Might as well say 30... which generally the thirties are when a woman is her most beautiful, within and without. She’ll continue to be a “beauty” and we’ll see less and less of the 20ish look as she moves along. Her gown reflected that...elegant. But her veil and hair could have been more regal and should have been for the style of her gown...
BTW Close ups do show her age very much...and she certainly lacks the innocene of a bride...even if few today have that so. But she’s been well groomed for her role over these past years so i doubt the Royal Family will face the barrage of “issues” Dianna brought them.
Fox reporting the couple postponing their “Honeymoon” and will stay in Britain. William back to military next week.
Might be a diversion so escape the news hounds seeking photos...but then they’ve been “Honeymooning” for five years or so might just be they want to stay “home”.
[Your post simply indicates how little you know of attire for a bride.]
LOL. Again, I don’t think her veil and hair could have been more beautiful. Her consultants and she made the right call wearing it down, and I absolutely loved her veil. It was elegant, beautiful, and fitting for a princess. Also, the veil was fitting of the gown.
How thrilling! I have never been out of the country, but, if I were to go, England and the rest of the UK are the only places I would really like to see. Just to be in Westminster Abby (even without a royal wedding) would be awe-inspiring!
In the article, there's also a link to the YouTube Royal Palaces channel:
Just to let you know any Americans can catch a glimpse of the couple in Ottawa on July 1st probably during Canada Day celebrations. They are also scheduled to tour Alberta, Quebec, Prince Edward Island and the Northwest Territories from June 30 to July 8.
