To: RED SOUTH
This is what it looks like when I import it into Adobe's Photoshop program:



Keep in mind that PDF's are Adobe's forte', so this isn't a problem with the importer on Adobe Photoshop.

For those who say this is a result of scanning it in and using and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) program, answer me this: Why does the OCR recognize the State Registrar's signature and why does it NOT recognize some of the other easily recognizable printed characters on the form?

Like I said in another post, I've long held that Obama was probably born in Hawaii, but now, I'm not so sure...

No. Not an OCR. If it was you'd be able to select individual text characters.

I think the theory is it was over sharpened which could produce that white halo around the black text.
