Jerome Corsi's book comes out in a month. Why didn't Obama wait until right before its' release to put this out, thus making Corsi look like a fool? The answer is simple. It's the old Krintong (Clinton) tactic of throwing an answer--any answer--out there and then claiming "I've already addressed that".

Its what I would do were I Obama. Wouldn’t you? If I had more time I would want to see how this is helping/hurting his poll numbers. Likely not much with his base, but independents or so so Republicans he needs a few of those to win, right?

This is smart on Obama's part.

Corsi's book is titled, "Where's The Birth Certificate?". By all reports, there is much more in Corsi's book, and there may be real information in there that is damaging to Obama. It will be easier for Obama to dismiss any claims Corsi makes now that he has undermined the main theme of the book.
