Why are the O’s in Oahu and Obama different fonts? If this was a real typewriter it would be the same.

What jumps out at me is that the O's in both Oahu's are not in line with the rest of the word, they are a little high. However, in OBAMA, which is all in caps, the O is perfectly in line with the rest of the word.

Two different "typewriters?"

OR ELSE THE TYPIST USED THE CAPS LOCK KEY because the whole line was capitalized instead of having to move the whole rack of letter arms with her pinky on the shift key.

We've gotten so used to word processors and laser printers that we've forgotten just how crappy typewritten pages looked, especially on manual typewriters.
