The Key is the wording at the bottom.
Nordyke one says "true and CORRECT copy".
Obama one says "true copy or ABSTRACT".

Abstract in Merriam/Webster dictionary says:
1c - insufficiently factual
2 - expressing a quality apart from the original
4 - having only intrinsic form with little or no attempt at pictorial representation or narrative content.

That's what I've been pointing out! It admits it's just an abstract copy!!

It says right on the bottom of this NEW BARACK BC that it is certified to be an ABSTRACT OF THE RECORD ON FILE.

I think the original owner of this serial number died....and they gave it to barack.

You left out the appropriate definition of abstract: 1: a summary of points (as of a writing) usually presented in skeletal form; also : something that summarizes or concentrates the essentials of a larger thing or several things

Merriam Webster definition of abstract

Ignoring Obama's specific case, the short form Hawaii provides is an abstract in that chops off the doctor's info, exact time of birth and other info. If they use the same stamp for both long and short form birth certificates (the certificate of live birth and certification of live birth) then the wording is appropriate. Nordyke's BC was released before there was a computerized short form available thus no mention or even thought of "abstract".
